Kensa WINS 1st Prize - Green Manufacturer of the Year 2009 – Corgi Awards 2009
Kensa Engineering, a thriving UK manufacturer of ground source heat pumps, triumphed over tough
competition to secure the prestigious Green Manufacturer of the Year Award at the Corgi Awards
2009.
Kensa Engineering is the only UK manufacturer of a complete range of ground source heat pumps
specifically designed for the UK market. The systems are designed so that they simplify on-site work
and hence save installation time. Kensa’s extensive product range (including domestic and
commercial systems), technical support and access to grant funding make Kensa an ideal partner in
the growing market for renewables.
Kensa Engineering would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote. This award reflects
Kensa’s reputation amongst existing installers and partners within the industry, not just for the
standard of our product engineering but also for our commitment to an excellent level of service.
The award was voted for by installers and was open to all manufacturers of energy efficient
products, including; solar, heat pumps, boiler optimisation technologies, biomass, micro CHP, energy
management systems, and fuel cells. All 10 shortlisted entrants of this award were scored out of 5 in
the following 5 areas:-

2. Reliability
3. Technical Support
4. Ease of Installation
5. Value
Kensa is renowned within the industry for providing support and sound advice to leading companies
regarding the use and suitability of heat pumps in different applications. They have become well
known within the market for their honest and straightforward advice.
Voters were encouraged to leave comments to justify the scores they gave each company. Some of the comments left by installers who voted for Kensa included:-
