Kensa's Case Study Portfolio
Kensa Engineering has supplied heat pumps in applications from small domestic dwellings to large commercial projects, single unit applications to communal systems. Our clients range from private householders, property development companies, housing associations to large blue chip companies. Our capabilities include utilising various energy sources such as water, boreholes or horizontal ground arrays.
Choose from one of the following applications to view a selection of relevant case studies:-
- Water Source - Extracting energy from a water source instead of the ground. A renovated cottage close to the Thames and a large scale commercial project, and just two projects where the heat pumps uses energy stored in a local water source to heat the buildings.
- Domestic New Build - A bungalow, a ski lodge and a large family detached home are all being successfully heated by a ground source Kensa unit.
- Slinkies/Ground Arrays - Barn conversions, new build family homes and a garden centre in Yorkshire all utilise slinky ground array as a very effective way of extracting energy from the ground, to provide space heating and domestic hot water to the projects.
- Boreholes - Kensa work with a number of favoured borehole drillers throughout the UK, and Kensa can put you in contact with these drillers to obtain a proposal for installing your heat pump. View some of past projects where boreholes were used to extract energy stored in the ground.
- Barn Conversions - View some of Kensa's past projects where a ground source heat pump was installed on a Barn Conversion project.
- Domestic Retrofit Social Housing Schemes - Read about one one particular project where Kensa were working in collaboration with New Linx Housing Association to provide a viable and long lasting retrofit heating scheme to the majority of their housing stock in Lincolnshire.
- Commercial Projects - Ground source heat pumps are becoming an increasingly popular solution to commercial projects. Read about some of Kensa's past installations for commercial projects within retail and recreation sectors.
