How long will the technology take to pay for itself?

This depends on a number of factors such as insulation levels, external and internal temperatures, the heating distribution system, electricity tariffs, the fuel being displaced, etc. It is therefore very difficult to provide an idea of payback periods.

However generally against oil it will show paybacks in the 7 to 10 years scale. Against gas it will be a lot longer (if at all).
